Volleyball Flashcards
This is small set of flashcards was used to explore how illustration can function as a shorthand for a complex movement. All my cards described positions in volleyball, and I was able to create cohesion in the set through my color palette and a gestural approach to the body’s forms that emphasized each movement. The element of type on the card added specificity but also activated the negative space.
